Selection and Admission Policy

Selection and admission at Madina Institute of Science & Technology (MISAT) Bannu is conducted strictly on merit in accordance with the policies of Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar for degree programs and Faculty of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences (FPMA) for diploma programs. The MISAT Admission Committee is responsible for processing applications, preparing merit lists, and granting admission to eligible candidates.

1. Admission is open to all eligible candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria and have appeared in the KMU-CAT Test (for BS programs).
2. No admission shall be granted on recommendation, influence, or donation. All decisions of the Admission Committee are final.
3. Reserved seats and quota policies shall be applied as per rules of KMU and Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Application Procedure

Candidates seeking admission must follow the complete application procedure within the dates announced by MISAT and KMU. Incomplete applications shall not be entertained.

• Obtain admission form from MISAT admission office or download from www.misat.edu.pk.
• Register and appear in KMU-CAT Test through the official KMU portal at cat.kmu.edu.pk.
• Submit duly filled admission form along with required documents and processing fee at MISAT Bannu.
• Ensure all documents are attested as per prescribed rules before submission.
• Keep the admission slip / receipt safe for future correspondence and merit list checking.

Merit List and Seat Allocation

After scrutiny of all applications, the Admission Committee shall prepare a merit list based on the approved weightage formula. The first merit list shall be displayed on the notice board at MISAT campus and on the official website.

• Merit lists shall be prepared separately for each program (BS Surgical, BS Anesthesia, BS Pathology, BS Dental and Diploma programs).
• Selected candidates must report within the date and time mentioned in the merit list, failing which their seat may be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.
• Waiting list candidates shall be called in order of merit if seats remain vacant after the deadline for first list candidates.
• No candidate shall be admitted after the closing date announced by KMU / FPMA for the respective session.

Enrollment and Reporting

Candidates whose names appear in the final merit list must complete the enrollment process to secure their admission. Failure to complete enrollment within the given timeframe shall result in cancellation of admission.

• Report to MISAT admission office on the specified date with all original documents for verification.
• Deposit the prescribed admission and tuition fee in the designated bank branch and submit the paid fee challan to the accounts office.
• Complete biometric registration and obtain the student identity card from the administration office.
• Attend the orientation session and commence classes as per the academic calendar issued by the institute.
